Featured Artist: MelanieLynnDesign

Five-Minute Feature: Ever wanted jewelry looking like a cross-section of bubbles? Look no further than MelanieLynnDesign!
Melanie Lynn Design,LLC, founded by jeweler and SUNY New Paltz student Melanie Greenberg, produces pieces that utilize new technology and materials not often traditionally associated with jewelry, such as felt, acrylics and wood. Lightweight and inspired by geometric patterns, Melanie focuses on circles due to their continuous nature. She has been creating designs where the circles are interrupted, but the overall shape which results still maintains no beginning and no end. Melanie's pieces are designed using the 3D modeling program Rhinoceros 4 and are then laser cut and hand assembled.
